With over ten years of experience in the networking field, Bob McCouch has worked for some of the largest companies in the world in both internal support and customer-facing roles supporting LAN/WAN, WLAN, and voice networks. Currently, Bob works for a small consulting shop where he consults for customers with networks ranging from a few ports to thousands ports on technologies and solutions including core routing/switching, security, wireless, and data center networking.

Along with earning his Cisco CCIE in Routing and Switching in early 2013, Bob has been blogging, participating in the occasional podcast, and throwing his two cents in on Twitter.

In rare moments when he’s not working on a customer’s network, playing in the lab, or otherwise sitting at a keyboard Bob enjoys snowboarding and spending time with his wife and two young children. Bob resides in southeastern Pennsylvania in the United States, about 40 miles west of the city of Philadelphia.
