How Kemp Maximizes Network Flow Visibility With Flowmon

Without the right information, a security event can be more like an unsolvable mystery rather than a puzzle that can be simply answered. In their presentation during March’s Security Field Day, Kemp showed how their Flowmon product collects information across nearly all facets of network traffic and then intelligently presents it in a way that helps IT admins and security engineers to parse through it with ease. See the Flowmon product in action by watching Kemp’s presentation and read the entirety of the post for key takeaways.

Solving the Mysteries of Security With Kemp

What’s the difference between a puzzle and a mystery, and how does that relate to security? Well, at March’s Security Field Day event, Kemp Technologies answered both of those questions, proffering their Flowmon product as a method for providing the necessary information to solve the mysteries of security in a single pane of glass. Read this post to learn more about their presentation, and be sure to watch the presentation itself for even more technical information.

Three Wow Moments at Security Field Day #5

After attending Security Field Day 5 as a delegate, Dr. Avril Salter found herself particularly impressed with three of the presenters from the event. On her LinkedIn, Dr. Salter writes about her “wow moments” from the event including HashiCorp’s Consul product facilitating the automation of service discovery, Juniper’s use of ATP and Mist AI to identify and handle security threats, and how Kemp’s users of Flowman can look back over stored data to determine if they’ve been compromised. If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out Dr. Salter’s thoughts as well as the presentations that she wrote about on the Tech Field Day website!

Presenters React to Security Field Day

With another successful Security Field Day event in the books, it’s always important to look back at what was top of mind for the presenters during the event. We focus on the slides and the questions and the way that everything looks on the published videos. However, there is more to Tech Field Day than just Powerpoint and presentation skills. Stopping Network Blame With Kemp

How does you load balancing solution stack up? Do you blame the network when everything goes down? Or does the cloud make you anxious? Tom Hollingsworth takes a look at Kemp and how their per-application solution can give you peace of mind and how it can be used in practical application with offerings demonstrated at Networking Field Day earlier this year.

Tech Field Day Extra With Liqid and Kemp

At Tech Field Day Extra at Dell Technologies World, the delegates got to hear from both Kemp and Liqid. In this post, Adam Fisher digs into the details of both presentations. Liqid showed their composable infrastructure solution, based on connecting datacenter resources dynamically across a PCIe fabric. Adam thinks its fascinating tech, and Liqid’s focus on emerging fields like 5G and AI will allow them to mature the solution along with the applications. Kemp, a company familiar to Adam with their load balancing portfolio, discussed their solutions for improving application delivery. This included a high level overview of their architecture, and details about their new integration of Dell EMC and Elastic Cloud Storage. In the end, one of the thing that impressed Adam the most was how versatile Dell EMC has to be to meet the needs of these two different companies.

Kemp Keeps ECS Balanced

At Tech Field Day Extra at Dell Technologies World, Kemp presented on their newly validated load balancing solution for Dell EMC’s Elastic Cloud Storage. Dan Frith makes the argument that while ECS comes with some integrated load balancing, Kemp is able to offer improved service availability and resilience, ultimately delivering more value from your infrastructure.

Objects Stores and Load Balancers

We were fortunate enough to have Enrico Signoretti as a delegate at Tech Field Day Extra at Dell Technologies World this year. At the event, he got to hear from Kemp Technologies. They presented on their validated load balancing solution for ECS allowing the end user to get the most out of an object storage infrastructure while being assured end to end support. For Enrico, getting the most out of your object storage is a key consideration and load balancers are essential in this regard.

TFDx @ DTW ’19 – Get to Know: Kemp

Ahead of the Tech Field Day Extra presentations at Dell Tech World 2019, Adam Post is taking a look at some of the presenters. In this post, he focuses on Kemp. Ahead of the show, the company announced it had the only load balancer to be certified under the Dell EMC Select program for use with Dell EMC’s Elastic Cloud Storage. Adam runs down why load balancing is needed in a scale-out storage solution, and he’s looking forward to a deep dive on it during their presentation.

Cloud Field Day – Kemp

Hard to believe, but Cloud Field Day is coming up next week. Among the delegates, we’re thrilled to have Ned Bellavance returning to the event. One of the companies he’ll get to hear from is Kemp Technologies. Ned first came across this company a while ago on a client site, and has kept up with the company as they’ve transition into cloud-focused solutions. He looking forward to finding out how the company plans to support cloud native applications, Kubernetes and container integrations, and how the company is capturing metrics in the cloud. Sounds like it should make for an excellent dialogue during the presentation.

Off the Cuff – NFD20 Wrap Up

From a rainy recording in Silicon Valley, Jordan Martin gathered together some fellow delegates from Networking Field Day to discuss what they heard at the event. They run down each presenter and discuss what stood out and struck their interest. Guests include Mario Gingras, Nick Shoemaker, Richard McIntosh, Brian Gleason, and Drew Conry-Murray.

BLOG – NFD20 – Kemp Technologies
