Justin Warren takes a look at Droplet Computing’s use of WebAssembly to run legacy apps in a browser. It evokes the concept originally behind Java: write once, run anywhere. By decoupling applications from the hardware and OS traditionally needed to run them, organizations can continue to run business critical custom-built applications.
