Delegates

Thank you for your interest in Gestalt IT’s Tech Field Day events!

These unique events bring together innovative IT product vendors with independent thought leaders who have immense influence on the ways that products and companies are perceived and understood by the general public. The world of media has changed, with video, social media, podcasting, and blogging gaining special importance. Our Field Day events are an opportunity for presenting companies to familiarize these influencers (and their audience) with product offerings and new technology. Ultimately, we hope to provide a forum for engagement, education, hands-on experience, and feedback.

Delegate Profile

Hand-picked industry thought leaders, the delegates represent the broad audience of IT practitioners. Field Day events focus on non-traditional industry thought leaders rather than the professional analysts and press already familiar to the IT product community. Despite their influence, this community is still not well-served by traditional trade shows, analyst days, and conference calls. Gestalt IT has organized the Field Day delegate community to provide an opportunity to build these connections.

Delegates are carefully selected. We invite many of the best-known, most-respected video personalities, podcasters, and bloggers in the industry. They are expected to listen with an open mind, engage and ask technical questions, and consider covering the presentations on their various channels. Most delegates are full-time IT staffers, contractors, integrators, and community leaders in the areas of server virtualization, data storage, networking, security, cloud computing, and desktop support. We do not include big-firm analysts, vendor-oriented consultants, pro reporters, or other similar professionals since they already have these connections.

Delegate Lists

Our network currently includes over 250 active delegates, and we are constantly adding new faces and refreshing our community. Each event page includes a list of the delegates who attended that event. You can learn more by clicking through to their individual page, which includes their bio, a list of events they have attended, and a list of coverage they have created.

You can also see a complete list of Field Day delegates if you’re looking for a specific person, or see a list of the active delegates for each year (e.g. 2018, 2019, 2020). You will notice that some names come and go but the quality of the delegate pool remains high every year.
