Ben Story is a network security engineer for RedEye Network Solutions. He has been working with technology since 1998, his Freshman year at Truman State University, when he worked for a small dial-up ISP managing their Shiva LanRover modem bank. Since then he has worked with servers, telephony, networking, and security. Sometimes all at once. He is a firm believer in finding the solution to the problem instead of a workaround, even if that means learning another technology to better understand the problem. He believes in giving back to the technology community and the community at large.
His blog Pack IT Forwarding is his way of paying it forward for all of the people that have helped him during his career. When he’s not working on technology he loves spending time with his wife and his four rescue dogs. He is also an avid Cubs fan.
