Steven Shalita, Vice President of Marketing at Pluribus Networks, gives a technological overview of their solutions. This includes a look at the history behind the development of the Netvisor, and the company’s history with initial OEM relationships that allowed them develop and harden their technology rapidly. This business focus on OEMs allowed them to mature their technology before pursuing a commercial market with enterprises.

Steven Shalita, Vice President of Marketing at Pluribus Networks, reviews the fundamentals of the Netvisor OS and the Adaptive Cloud Fabric architecture that differentiates their solutions. Their OS is based on a controller-less distributed architecture designed to scale without specific protocol requirements. He further goes over the automation and programmability of Netvisor, including a look at their network visibility offerings.

Alessandro Barbieri, Vice President of Product Management at Pluribus Networks, reviews the company’s new integrations with VMware. This includes discovery and provisioning of ESXi hosts, integration of endpoint metadata housed in their Cloud Fabric which allows for advanced policy configuration, and exploration of host to VM analytics. These integrations not only include vCenter, but NSX as well.
