Ananda Rajagopal, Vice President, Products at Gigamon, gives an overview of the company. Gigamon provides a Visibility Platform that enables customers to obtain visibility into data-in-motion across all IT infrastructures. GigaSECURE is their visibility platform for security, what they refer to as a Security Delivery Platform, an industry first. GigaSECURE provides an architectural approach to look inside the perimeter of an organization. It delivers visibility into the lateral movement of malware, accelerates the detection of exfiltration activity, and can significantly reduce the overhead, complexity and cost associated with security deployments.

Jai Balasubramaniyan, Director, Project Management at Gigamon, reviews the SSL/TLS decryption capabilities of the GigaSECURE architecture. This can be offered as a common service to all connected tools, both inline or out-of-band. Organizations can benefit by creating a common “decryption zone” in the infrastructure. Jai specifically reviews the capabilities of it to provide Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) functionality.
