This presentation is an overview of Kemp’s Flowmon Network Performance Monitoring & Diagnostics principles, architecture and traffic monitoring concepts in hybrid environment. We cover the basics of flow monitoring, Flowmon Probes, application layer metadata extraction, separation of network and application delay, monitoring of tunneled traffic and export of network telemetry. We expand beyond flow monitoring to on demand packet capture and packet analysis.
