Network interface cards (NICs) have evolved beyond offload features and now have become SmartNICs, with ASIC, CPU, or FPGA for programmability and broader offloads. Xilinx serves Fintech, hyperscalers, and the enterprise with their X2, SN1000, and U25N SmartNICs, providing offloading, hardware acceleration, customized solutions, and high performance. The U25N SmartNIC is designed for enterprise workload acceleration, built on the proven X2 ultra-high-performance NIC ASIC with powerful standard offloads for OVS, IPSec, firewall, and QoS functions. It is also programmable and features dynamic function exchange (DFX) and onboard DDR to support a large number of rules. It is built for reliability and performance with many special features for stateless offloads, server virtualization, and manageability.
