Data Processing Units (DPUs) play a crucial role by offloading intensive I/O tasks, increasing tenant instances, reducing CPU usage, and enhancing control and security. AMD’s chiplet-based design aligns with cloud-native principles, offering a cost-effective, modular, and standards-compliant solution.
