Delivering 5G Edge Computing and Accelerating Networking Innovation with Arrcus

5G/Edge computing is changing how network operators build out their architectures with applications and data being distributed out to the edges. It demands high-speed, high-performance routing-based connectivity with ultra-low latency. It also demands a seamless network experience extending across on-prem, 5G edge/access, and multi-cloud environments. The only way to deliver the full power of low-latency, open networks is with a software-powered, routing-centric network foundation.

Arrcus SRv6 for Simple, Scalable, and Seamless Layer 3 Overlays

Segment Routing (SR), MPLS or IPv6, is the next-generation data plane for flexible instantiation of low-latency, high-availability, and scalable network infrastructure.  SRv6 is an IPv6-native network instruction set that allows deployment of services over an IPv6-native network, requiring only existing control protocols such as BGP.  This demonstration shows how Arrcus ArcOS running on merchant silicon hardware delivers SRv6 for simple, scalable, and seamless layer 3 VPN services.
