Cisco DNA Service for Bonjour

Apple Bonjour (also called Zero-configuration solution) provides consumers new ways to discover and distribute services with its intuitive solution. The Bonjour protocol is key to that success for small residential-class networks. With its intuitive user-experience, consumers now demand similar experiences with consistent service-oriented networks in Enterprise environments. However, enterprise networks are much bigger and complex relative to smaller home networks. IT organizations face immense challenges with Bonjour due its limited single L2 function, services scale, policy-control and resiliency.

Cisco DNA Service for Bonjour is designed and developed to address such challenges for mid-large Enterprise, schools and Universities. This brand-new solution from Cisco is designed with Cisco’s SDN Controller DNA-Center and network elements that build distributed services routing architecture providing industry’s best-in-class end-to-end, scalable and resilient solution. The new solution introduces Wide Area Bonjour domain that enables policy-based Bonjour services and routing capabilities for discovery and distribution in the network.

Watch to understand the solution architecture of Cisco DNA Service for Bonjour and how it can help you seamlessly integrate the new technology and enable an intuitive, policy-enabled and services-rich network!
