Commvault’s Sr. Director of Solutions Marketing, Don Foster gives an overview of their HyperScale Software and Appliance, which provides an open platform with full API support that allows customers to easily deploy scale-out secondary storage. By design, HyperScale can be installed and implemented in a manner of minutes, with automated deployment based on a simple questionnaire.

Commvault’s Sr. Director of Solutions Marketing, Don Foster, introduces ScaleProtect with Cisco UCS Data Protection. This allows for a 3 node setup with up to 436TB of usable storage across those nodes with full fault tolerance. What Commvault offers is scale out storage for UCS Servers, providing a global view into data while offering full automation and orchestration features.

Commvault’s Sr. Director of Solutions Marketing, Don Foster, show the initial set up process for their HyperScale Appliance, which can be backup ready within 30 minutes of powering up. Their 3U appliance provides between 32-80TB of usable capacity, including erasure coding. Don then provides a full architectural overview for the delegates.
