Recognizing that dynamic workloads like AI and machine learning, and ever-changing business needs, demand a dynamic and flexible data center framework, Liqid was founded in 2018 by a team of industry veterans to meet the demands of next-gen workloads, which had already begun to push legacy data center architectures to a breaking point.

Liqid Product Architecture and Use Cases

Liqid delivers the world’s most comprehensive composable infrastructure platform to address this need for dynamic architecture to handle today’s most taxing workloads. Liqid software drives unified multi-fabric support for composability across all major fabrics including PCIe Gen 3, PCIe Gen 4, Ethernet, and Infiniband, with foundational work for the upcoming Gen-Z fabric currently under development.

Liqid enables dynamic composability of bare-metal servers from pools of CPU, GPU, FPGA, NVMe, and NICs, regardless of the underlying fabric. Administrators can dynamically distribute and repurpose these resources as required, on-demand or via automation.
