The growth of MinIO is a function of the fact that we do one thing – high-performance, Kubernetes native, object storage. That is all we do. We aim to do it better than anyone else. In this section Jonathan Symonds will discuss our guiding principles, our customers and growth, our ambition and our commercial model.

In this section, AB Periasamy and Jonathan Symonds will articulate why the biggest prize in the cloud is unclaimed and why MinIO is poised to take it. This section will outline the keys to success for the hybrid/multi-cloud and MinIO simple but powerful strategy for delivering against those. Daniel Valdivia will provide a demonstration of MinIO running on all three major public clouds – AWS, Azure and Google.

To win the hybrid/multi cloud there are several critical capabilities. In this section, Jonathan Symonds and AB Periasamy will discuss the importance of Kubernetes, why Multi-Tenancy is a hard requirement and why MinIO has evolved to use more graphical user interfaces. Daniel Valdivia will provide a demonstration of key elements of multi-tenancy using the MinIO Kubernetes Operator console.

The cloud is a different computing paradigm and well understood features need to be viewed through the lens of performance and scale. In this section, AB Periasamy and Jonathan Symonds will look at key new capabilities in Tiering, Active Active Replication and Continuous Data Protection to more fully understand what is required for at scale success in the cloud. Daniel Valdivia will provide a demonstration of these features in action – both on premise and in the public clouds. Jonathan Symonds will wrap up the presentation with a summary and some final thoughts.
