This technical demonstration of the Morpheus hybrid cloud management platform will illustrate how to unify the cloud experience across VMware, Nutanix, AWS, Azure, GCP, and more. From basic VMaaS to full application stacks and day-2 automation we’ll show how the platform meets the needs of IT Operations, Security, Developers, and Finance teams. The session will cover newer features like the persona-based GUI plus will dig into the intersection of Morpheus with Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow, and other adjacent technologies.

The Venn diagram of cloud management, container management, and infrastructure automation is a pattern we’re seeing at enterprises around the world. This deep dive will review Morpheus features that simplify how organizations build, manage, and consume Kubernetes while at the same time bridging the gaps between Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools. We’ll discuss the value of an agnostic multi-platform control plane compared to pure-play stacks from VMware, Red Hat, and the public providers.

Many first generation CMPs started and stopped with cost management. The Morpheus design center was always application-centric with a focus on automation and orchestration. However, in the last 18 months we’ve seen companies demand a full-stack hybrid cloud management model that includes robust features for discovery, optimization, chargeback, and public-cloud invoice aggregation. We’ll review the latest features including the new custom report plug-in.
