Kev Johnson dives deep into the VMware Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) checks feature of Runecast Analyzer, showing how you can remove some of the biggest causes of risk and go beyond that to having actual vSphere security rather than just business-as-usual (BAU) mode. Extending this capability to upgrade planning via simulation, he’ll show how you can identify hardware that will need replacing, and also assets that you can sweat for another year or two through BIOS, firmware, and driver updates.

Monitoring compliance with the relevant security standards in the SDDC is something that is typically covered on an annual basis, usually in the weeks leading up to an audit. In this live demo, Kev Johnson walks you through Runecast Analyzer and focuses on ways to gain visibility into your Hybrid Cloud all year round. Through continuously checking your configuration and security posture and highlighting where you drift from your desired baselines, Runecast helps you quickly remediate any deviations for VMware products, AWS, and now also Kubernetes. He’ll also show you how to automate your way to compliance.
