Chris Wright the CTO of Red Hat will discuss how open source is a catalyst for technical innovation. He will review the three pillars of Red Hat’s Open Hybrid Cloud vision and strategy. He will discuss how Kubernetes has become the standard for cloud innovation. The session will end with a review of Red Hat’s future investments into the following emerging areas: Serverless, AI/ML and building a 5G Edge-enabled distributed platform.

Derek Carr, Red Hat Distinguished Engineer will demonstrate innovation in OpenShift 4.4 to include on-prem, self managed in cloud or managed services. He will deep dive into how Red Hat manages and operates our OpenShift managed service. Viewers will learn what Red Hat does to harden upstream kubernetes. The session will continue with a deeper dive into features designed for IT administrators like operators, monitoring, update services, out of box security settings, and more. Derek will end showing how Red hat is accelerating innovation through our open source leadership.

Michael Elder, Red Hat Distinguished Engineer will walk through our just announced Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. He will demonstrate multi cluster life-cycle management, Policy-based governance, Security compliance and application lifecycle management.
