Eric Wright, Technology Evangelist for Turbonomic, introduces the Turbonomic Autonomic Platform to the delegates. The platform is designed to give application assurance in real time, and features self management, including support for hybrid clouds. Turbonomic centers their platform around maintaining a desired state, a proactive approach. This circumvents the typical IT priority of trying to identify problems, then seeking to remediate.

Mor Cohen-Tal, Product Manager at Turbonomic, walks through the current state of the Turbonomic product. This has been recently updated to a new UI. This gives a better view of their central framing metaphor of the platform, a virtual supply chain. This shows every item that effects application performance, and allows you to quickly get a sense of what are the current issues.

Mor Cohen-Tal, Product Manager at Turbonomic, and Technology Evangelist Eric Wright give an overview of Turbonomic 5.9. This update give you visibility across cloud provider services. This includes showing costs for each point in time for each services, and projects costs and performance going forward. 5.9 also has public cloud migration tools, allowing you to compare shifting workloads or clusters to different providers. Customers can then choose when to execute the migration. This is all driven with Turbonomic’s application assurance engine to show the full implications of moving to the public cloud.
