Ben Mason has 20+ years of experience in the security and network industries, working in roles ranging from field engineer to IT director. He maintains a CCIE and OSCP certification and has designed and implemented and managed a wide range of technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, authentication systems, and various server platforms. As a Technical Architect at CDW, he is responsible for the development of security services to protect customers’ sensitive data. He enjoys exploring how technology works, reversing engineering software, and hardware.

Currently, Ben is studying various Malware samples and understanding how they work. He is an active participant in the local Maine security community, presenting at meetups and administering the local MaineSec chat room.
