Mike grew up in the Pacific islands. After working as an aircraft mechanic in the US Navy, he changed gears and jumped into tech. Mike started as a Novell CNE and Oracle DBA, then an IT consultant. Fifteen years later, he was introduced to 802.11 Wi-Fi.

802.11b was the flavor when Mike started with Wi-Fi. Many certs and survey miles later, he became CWNE #421. He now owns the wireless consultancy company Kahuna-Fi.

Project highlights are: Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, SF Bay Ferries, Massive wine warehouses, Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers, WW2 munitions plant turned into a law school, The birthplace of Ethernet, An MLB stadium, and An historic US Navy submarine.
