Rohan Puri has more than 13 years of software development experience building storage systems. Currently working as Staff Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor Inc on distributed file systems. Some of the projects he has worked on are; porting ZFS file systems from Solaris to Linux, Veritas file systems, Oracle’s Pillar Data Flash file systems, Seagate’s distributed object storage, Tintri’s vmstor file systems. Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University with research on computational storage. He has interests in key-value stores and has spoken at SNIA’s SDC conference about LSM trees. His recent interests is exploring vector databases from storage viewpoint.
