Commvault and Kubernetes – Tech Field Day 22

Commvault and Kubernetes? It was a surprising development from the perspective of Ned Bellavance who talks about it in his daily check-in. Ned was a delegate at Tech Field Day where he was able to interact directly with Commvault and other presenters. Tech Field Day 22: The TECHunplugged Take on Red Hat OpenShift

After seeing Red Hat present on their OpenShift offering at Tech Field Day last week, delegates Max Mortillaro and Arjan Timmerman jumped on YouTube to give their thoughts. In this video they talk about Red Hat’s place in the market, some of the interesting Kubernetes offerings, and their perspective on OpenShift. Tech Field Day 22 – the TECHunplugged Take on Commvault

As delegates at Tech Field Day earlier this month, Max Mortillaro and Arjan Timmerman got an up close look at Commvault. They enjoyed Commvault’s presentations and recapped what they learned on their TechUnplugged YouTube channel. In the conversation they recap Commvault’s several offerings including Metallic, Hedvig, and their “Store. Protect. Migrate.” strategy around kubernetes. Max and Arjan are impressed with how Commvault continues to push out offerings and work to turn out value for their customers.


#AIFD1 Day 2 Thoughts

As a delegate, Gina Rosenthal often has the chance to talk technology with presenting companies, but at AI Field Day she got to talk about another one of her interests: product marketing! After some of the AI Field Day presentations, Gina had the opportunity to engage directly with the presenters in candid breakout sessions to focus on how they presented their product. On her YouTube channel, Gina talks through some product marketing tips including how to use your marketing slides to provide context and help to set the table for the more in depth technical conversations. We’re always glad to have Gina at our Tech Field Day events and are thankful for her sharing her expertise in technology and beyond!


Thoughts on AI Field Day 1

Gina Rosenthal of Digital Sunshine Solutions joined us at our very first AI Field Day last month! In this video, Gina analyzes some of the societal issues that arise around new AI products. Coffee Hour – Mobility Field Day 5

Rowell Dionicio and François Vergès over at the Clear to Send podcast recently previewed what to expect at Mobility Field Day. They were particularly interested to see VMware as a presenting company and can’t wait to hear what they’ll be discussing. They also look at some of the delegates attending to the event, note the increased importance of wireless security within the voices around the table, and how the virtual event is changing who can be a delegate.


Morpheus Data & NetApp – Cloud Field Day 8 | Watch Party

Cloud Field Day has always offered a live stream of presentations for anyone to watch and enjoy, but its not often we see watch parties organized around the presentations. That’s what Nick Howell did for the presentations from Morpheus Data and NetApp. It’s a really unique way to watch the presentation, with live commentary from Nick, as well as an integrated chat for replay.


Veeam at Cloud Field Day 8 – Daily Check-In for July 15, 2020

Ned Bellavance has now attended his second virtual Field Day event, recently participating at Cloud Field Day. He was impressed how the Field Day team has kept iterating on the virtual event format to take advantage of not being limited by physical space, providing two different presentation tracks to let people watch presenters at a convenient time. In this video, he looks at what Veeam presented at the event. They showed off their latest tools specifically designed to help users backup and protect workloads and data in the cloud.
