What we now call edge computing is nothing new, but changes to the technology and communications stack have given it new purpose. Just as enterprise IT workloads are moving to the cloud, they are also moving to the edge, from 5G to remote offices to client devices. What has changed and how will this affect enterprise technology in the coming years? That’s the topic of this Tech Field Day delegate roundtable discussion, moderated by Stephen Foskett.
