Greg Ross, Senior Systems Engineer at Paessler, gives a demonstration of PRTG monitoring devices in production. He shows how PRTG can be deployed across a wide range of use cases, using their idea of sensors as metrics unique to a device. He reviews how PRTG can be setup for specialized notifications in certain monitoring situations. In VMware environments, this can be drilled down into the vCenter level, and help with provisioning, performance, and reliability.
