Greg Ross, Senior Systems Engineer at Paessler, reviews how PRTG can be used to monitor uncommon devices that might not be considered part of infrastructure, but are just as critical. These include everything from dishwaters at a hospital to slot machines at a casino. PRTG is able to do this because of the customizable nature of the sensors. These can capture MIBs from anything writing in SNMP, which can be customized to fit an organizations needs.
