David Stump, Director, Global GTP – SAP, and Scott McCullough, SAP Solutions Architect, discuss options for deploying SAP workloads on cloud with NetApp. NetApp and SAP have over 20 years of innovation together, with NetApp a founding member of the SAP Co-Innovation Lab. Running SAP in public cloud gives flexibility, faster deployments, ROI improvement, and security, but is challenging in many ways. NetApp tools and services can help, with NetApp CVS in Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure NetApp Files, and AFF/FAS in the datacenter. The discussion then turns to SAP HANA on Google Cloud with NetApp Cloud Volumes Service, followed by a workflow automation demo.
