Gestalt IT’s second datacenter networking-focused Field Day event will be held on October 27 and 28 in Silicon Valley! This unique event brings together innovative IT product vendors and independent thought leaders, allowing them to get to know one another. It is a forum for engagement, education, hands-on experience, and feedback. This is Gestalt IT’s third year of Tech Field Day events – learn more at the Tech Field Day site!
Watch the Net Field Day 2 Links page for updates and publications coming out of the event!

Event Status
Networking Field Day 2 will be held in and around San Jose, CA on October 27 and 28. We will have four 2-hour slots each day for presentation and discussion, each dedicated to a single sponsoring vendor. Most presentations will be on-site at the presenter’s facilities, further differentiating the Field Day experience from the typical hotel-focused trade show or conference. Each presentation slot costs less than a simple trade show table!
On the Wednesday before Networking Tech Field Day, Gestalt IT and Packet Pushers will cohost a special technology symposium focused on Openflow, an exciting new technology in the data center networking space. The Openflow Symposium will feature panelists from key companies including Juniper, Cisco, and NEC as well as end-users like Google and Yahoo! Public seating will be available for this special event.
NFD2 is currently in the planning stages. We have agreements on most of the slots, and are starting with our roster from NFD1 last year. The presentation slots usually fill up very quickly as the event nears, and we normally have to turn away a company or two due to limited space.
