here are the CEO's takeaways:1. embrace cloud2. lean in and lead customers into the new world of AI#qlikconnect #tfdx
So this AM at #qlikconnect #TFDx we have an inspirational athlete recognized as the world's greatest female swimmer today, Katie Ledecky, who also earned her degree in psychology from Stanford during the pandemic and is a best-selling author
Qlikbait! (Apologies.) Love Katie Ledecky as a consistent and hard-working athlete with both great success and an unassuming, welcoming manner. Yay! On stage at #QlikConnect Day 2
Now @Qlik is welcoming their guest speaker, @katieledecky to the #QlikConnect stage, the most-decorated female swimmer in history. She has won nine Olympic gold medals and 21 world championship gold medals and just set a new world record! pic.twitter.com/F3B4U43pcf
Well, I +am+ SMH at what CEOs think #generativeAI and #agenticAI can really deliver for their companies. I think we're at a point where we can + SHOULD take a hard look at what we're really using the tech for. Could maybe a simple report or knowledge graph do the same work as training a massive LLM?
Now up Doug Q36.5 pro cycling team. Well a video from the Alps cuz they are racing. They give insights to the riders, but they didn't share any juicy details. Example: Qlik surfaced that Myanmar refugees #1 request was solar panels to charge phones to find their families. #qlikconnect #tfdx
Example: Qlik surfaced that Myanmar refugees #1 request was solar panels to charge phones to find their families. Not food, water, clothes, etc. Finding this out helped Medair provide what people needed.#qlikconnect #tfdx
now an interview on Medair, a humanitarian company that delivers health care. CIO Hiedi Cockram. The team gathers data to find out what people need. They use Qlik to create dashboards to understand the problem. #qlikconnect #tfdx

Well, that's invigorating! A company I never heard of – Reworld – that actively makes sure ~20 million tons of waste is diverted from landfills every year uses Qlik analytic tools with a tiny team of just 5 IT workers to support their efforts #qlikconnect #TFDx
Cool! Customers are going to tell some stories at the #qlikconnect keynotes. First up Eiji Ikeda from Fujitsu.124K employees at Fujitsu, they are transforming people processesHe is very realistic about data, and how people have to change to make AI work.Keep evolving is really a big theme.#tfdx
Dilip Bhatia, chief experience officer at Lenovo. 70K employees. 80% of revenue goes thru partners. NPS scores were low bcuz too many manual processes. They built a partner hub with Qlik to create personalized portals for partners & improved NPS scores.#qlikconnect #tfdx
Charles Link, Sr Dir data & analytics for Reworld is up next. They recover over 20M tons of waste, diverting them from landfulls anually.Co has grown thru acquisitions. 24 sources revenue data and more. Qlik helped them build the pipelines to master the chaos. #qlikconnect #tfdx
As a rule, I don’t applaud for event sponsors at industry events. But I always applaud and thank customers who are willing to get on stage and share their stories. #QlikConnect
Interesting that here at #qlikconnect #TFDx lightning rounds the first 2 customer stories – Volkswagen & Fujitsu – that I either have worked for or am a direct customer. And they're all using #GenerativeAI for handling and analyzing their data with the help of Qlik products 🤔
I think Qlik is being thoughtful and methodical with incorporating #AI capabilities and with enabling better AI development too. (They have been doing AI for a very, very long time.) But inevitably, even very engaged user bases are not even catching up yet#QlikConnect @techfieldday.com Experience
There’s so much noise about #AI and so-o-o-o mischaracterized … and vague. At these conferences, I swear I’m not SMH at all. But I _am_ thinking about how many users are actually using these new features. And if they’re using them as intended#QlikConnect @techfieldday.com Experience
Kicking off #qlikconnect #TFDx Day 2 in just a few minutes! Should be interesting to see what new riffs on #AgenticAI are forthcoming from Qlik leadership and customers today
Awesome panel here at #qlikconnect #TFDx with Women Who Qlik on so many different topics that my fellow female colleagues have faced + overcome 🥹 + thinking of all the crap my life partner Ruth faced in her IT career 😡
This weel at #QlikConnect #TFDx, @TechFieldDay.com delegate @gminks.bsky.social shares how #Qlik implemented silent disco-style headphones for breakout sessions—making it easier to hear, focus, and switch talks without the usual conference noise. #Innovation #AI
