SolarWinds specifically developed the tool to hide as much data as needed to make it easier to find the true troubleshooting issues. Chris further goes over some of the tradeoffs inherent in any kind of network monitoring solution.

Chris O’Brien, Product Manager at SolarWinds, shows how the company is addressing monitoring of the increasing number of load balancers, proxies, and firewalls. These devices are relatively few in number, but generally tend to be at critical bottlenecks. SolarWinds’ Load Balancing Platform aims to begin to monitor these devices, and show their relationships with the rest of the network.
