Goutham Rao, Co-Founder and CTO, Portworx by Pure Storage, introduces the challenges of storage in an app-centric Kubernetes world. Unlike legacy environments, which are infrastructure-centric, Kubernetes applications need a new kind of integrated storage management, and this is what Portworx provides. Portworx gives continuous availability and high scalability to micro services applications. Gou then demonstrates Portworx in Kubernetes on public cloud for PostgreSQL failover, snapshots, and resize and real-world benefits of the solution.
