Parimal Puranik, Senior Director, Product Management, reviews SteelFusion, an application platform that’s intended to run edge applications at remote offices. The SteelFusion Edge connects from a remote office over the WAN to a SteelFusion Core. This is optimized via a caching architecture at the edge to make sure you don’t need an active 1:1 copy of the data at both sites.
