Born on 25th November 1976 in Cremona, Italy (where he actually lives) becoming a computing enthusiast when he was 11.

After several little IT experiences, in 2001 Lino seriously started his IT career as a software developer at Fabbricadigitale s.r.l. where he became Senior Software Developer focused on backend integration and UI automation.

During 2003-2007 he was the president of a local Linux Users Group. In 2008 he moved to AemCom s.r.l. as Senior System Administrator and a few years, he became Cloud Architect and Head of Cloud Provider Department.

In 2012 he earned the first VMware certification (VCP4) and in 2015 he joined VMware Users Group Italy.

2016 could be defined as The Year of Change: during my first VMworld I met a lot of people, started some important worldwide connections and more of all, I joined  the Tech Field Day community. In the same year, I started my journey to becoming an influencer and became an active VMware {code} member.

Lino is the author at https://blog.linoproject.net diving into topics like Cloud Infrastructures and Cloud-Native Application (delivering particular attention for the infrastructure automation) Never do the same thing twice… As a system administrator you deserve more than an angry monkey-like job!

For two years he was a Cloud-Native Application coach for two Swiss Startups and a senior consultant for A2A SmartCity.

In 2018 he joined InfoCert S.p.A. (CA authority and Service Provider focused on certified mail systems, documents, and legal invoices) with the role of System Architect and Cloud Architect focused on automation.

Now he is a CoderDojo champion, spending some time teaching “coding” for kids.
