The show has been running for over a decade and built a loyal audience of engineers and technical leaders at enterprise companies worldwide.
Before founding Failover Media, Brandon spent 20+ years in enterprise technology across product management and marketing roles at Sun Microsystems, IBM, CA Technologies, DXC Technology, and several startups. That career arc — from the early days of open source and enterprise infrastructure through cloud and digital transformation — gives him a practitioner’s lens on the industry he covers.
In 2025, he launched Failover Media, a B2B podcast network bundling Software Defined Talk with The Reasoning Show and The Cloud Pod. The network reaches cloud architects, platform engineers, and IT decision-makers at Global 2000 companies, with 20M+ combined downloads and an audience that skews heavily toward enterprise practitioners and technical leadership.
