Four Days of Networking Innovation, Infrastructure, and Automation at Networking Field Day 41

Networking Field Day 41 is bringing four days of networking technology, innovation, and expert discussions to the Tech Field Day community, featuring 12 companies, 13 delegates, and a packed schedule from October 6-9, 2026.

Get ready for four days of networking technology, industry insights, and conversations with some of the biggest names in the industry. Hosted by event lead Tom Hollingsworth, Networking Field Day 41 brings together industry experts, technology companies, and independent delegates to explore the latest developments in networking. This year’s event features a packed four-day schedule covering AI networking, data center infrastructure, network automation, security, observability, and more. With new presenters, returning industry partners, and real-world technical discussions, there’s plenty for networking professionals to explore.

Event Schedule

The event kicks off Tuesday, October 6, starting with first-time presenter 7SIGNAL. The company will explore wired and wireless monitoring, visibility beyond the access point, and insights across the networking stack. Next, NETALLY will showcase its LinkRunner 100G, a tool designed to test 100-gigabit network connections, with its VP of Product discussing the technology. After lunch, VMware by Broadcom returns to Networking Field Day for the first time in approximately five years, bringing updates on VMware NSX and potentially a few surprises. The day concludes with Arrcus, which will explore AI-aware networking and the role networks play in AI inference. Its presentation will examine how networking infrastructure can adapt to the demands of AI workloads.

Wednesday begins with HPE Networking‘s campus and branch team, presenting its self-driving networks initiative. The discussion will include updates on EX and CX switches, AI-powered operations, and other developments in network management. Following HPE, NetBeez will introduce its next generation of network monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities, including continuous user and location identification, diagnostics, and proactive issue detection. Rather than waiting for users to report problems, the company will demonstrate how organizations can improve everyday network operations. Wednesday wraps up with Nokia’s internal IT team, sharing how it uses Nokia’s own networking solutions to build and manage its infrastructure. The presentation will cover infrastructure as code, Git-based workflows, digital twin validation, and other real-world practices that demonstrate how Nokia applies its technology within its own network.

Thursday brings another full day of technical presentations, beginning with first-time presenter OpsMill. The company will explore agentic network automation, self-service provisioning, and multi-domain automation across network environments. Next, HPE Networking’s data center team will examine the trends shaping AI data center networking, including AMD Helios, Ethernet scale-up switching, and other emerging technologies. The team from Cisco Data Center will then discuss Nexus One and its role in modernizing both established and new fabric environments. The day’s final presentation comes from returning presenter Hedgehog, which will dive into disaggregated inference and the growing role of networking in AI inference engines. Attendees can expect a deeply technical discussion covering prefill and decode workloads, GPU pools, KV cache, and the infrastructure challenges associated with distributed AI computing.

Networking Field Day concludes Friday with two presentations focused on the future of networking infrastructure and security. First, Xsight Labs will discuss its open-source programming model and how it is being brought to networking silicon. Having previously presented at Tech Field Day, the company will offer a fresh perspective tailored to networking professionals and infrastructure teams. The event wraps up with Cisco Networking and Security, bringing networking and security together in a platform-based approach. Its presentation will cover security, observability, data, AI, the SASE experience, resilient infrastructure, and multicloud networking. The discussion will explore how networking and security teams can work together to improve infrastructure and modernize data transport across increasingly complex environments.
