Amazon S3 is designed for 99.999999999% (11 9s) of durability, strong resiliency, and high availability. This makes S3 an ideal storage service for cloud-native applications, analytics, and machine learning. Strong data protection is nonnegotiable, and S3 durability is a natural fit. However, even the most durable storage cannot protect against unintended or accidental deletions. Additionally, ransomware events are a prime reason to evaluate additional protection for your critical data. Join this session to learn about S3 features that provide additional layers of protection, including S3 Versioning, S3 Cross-Region Replication (CRR), S3 Object Lock, and more.
Presented by Peter Imming, Principal Technical Product Manager, Amazon S3.
