Service Providers are starting their migrations to Segment Routing and Segment Routing v6. SR and SRv6 bring with it network simplicity, resiliency and operational ease. Combined with automation, Service Providers can unlock and maximize these benefits as they deploy SR/SRv6 in a large scale network. Already serving over 100 million users for end-to-end IP transport, SR offers path disjointness to fulfill defined constraints automate service and transport provisioning. Compute low latency path based on measured link delay/jitter/drop. SR path computation element (SR-PCE)  provides multi-domain visibility, unified SR fabric and integration with automation. Service awareness and infrastructure visibility.  The simplification offered from SRv6 uSID programming provides scalable solution of full automation with Cisco Crosswork Network Controller.

With digital transformation taking place across industries, the demand for high-quality, differentiated services are continuing to increase. As a result, fragmented and reactive approach to service assurance can no longer scale, putting pressure on service providers to adopt innovative technologies. A service-centric approach providing granular insights based on the role of the operator within the organization is needed. In this session, you will learn how Crosswork Automated Assurance, as the set of assurance capabilities provided by the Crosswork Automation portfolio, helps service providers to leverage visibility, insights, and actions to provide outstanding service assurance across today’s complex multilayer and multivendor networks.

5G transport needs to serve a set of diverse deployment scenarios, from traditional macro base stations to distributed cloud RAN. The elements of the network required for network slicing include 5G Packet, Transport Network, Compute, NFV, etc to bring these domains together managing orchestration of network slice while ensuring delivery of distinct SLA/SLO requirements. Cisco’s toolset for 5G Transport, Cisco Crosswork Network Controller can help to design, deploy, manage, optimize dynamic networks, congestion handling and innovative service assurance capabilities. Introduce Slice Catalog, OAM (SR PM, Y.1731) and extend NB API based on IETF Draft Slice Yang Model.
