We had a blast working with Intel on Tech Field Day Extra at Intel Memory and Storage 2020! We all want data, and we want it whenever and wherever we are. Writing for GestaltIT.com, Georgina Ford writes about how Qumulo is looking to solve the age-old problem of data availability. She writes about Qumulo’s presentation at Storage Field Day 20 last year on their data management solutions as well as how they are taking on the challenges presented by the Hybrid Cloud. Red Hat at the Edge
In a video on his Youtube channel “Ned in the Cloud”, Ned Bellavance talks about the presentation that Red Hat gave to him and eleven other delegates at Tech Field Day in December. In the video, he talks through Red Hat’s presentation including their focus on OpenShift for Developers and OpenShift at the Edge. As he looks at the IT Industry, Ray Lucchesi sees something changing. As a delegate at the first ever AI Field Day late last year, he got to see several sponsors present on their latest innovations in the field. In an ongoing segment on his blog, RayOnStorage, Ray looks at the differences between hardware and software innovation. As part of his post, he considers some of the incredible progress being made in hardware like neuromorphic chips, including those that Ray saw BrainChip present on. Ray writes that Intel is also helping to push the hardware innovation forward with their work. Max Mortillaro and Arjan Timmerman of TECHunplugged were both delegates at Tech Field Day in December. VMware Will Present at TFD22
In a preview of the final day of Tech Field Day earlier this month, delegate Arjan Timmerman writes about VMware and their Disaster Recovery solution. Arjan writes that “doing disaster recovery right is hard to do” and thinks that the VMware acquisition of Datrium was intended to put them in an optimal position to succeed in this area.
