SolarWinds specifically developed the tool to hide as much data as needed to make it easier to find the true troubleshooting issues. Chris further goes over some of the tradeoffs inherent in any kind of network monitoring solution.

Michael Friis, Product Manager at Docker, reviews the company’s offerings for AWS and Azure. The service is in private beta, with a public beta coming soon. Michael shows how Docker automates this process to allow users to get containers on these cloud services operating quickly. Docker particularly focused on making upgrades easy and non-disruptive.

Michael Friis, Project Manager at Docker, introduces Docker on Windows, now available natively on Windows Server 2016. He reviews the two image choices available for Windows containers, a stripped down nanoserver and windowsservercore, which has the full .NET framework.

Docker Securing the Supply Chain with David Lawrence

David Lawrence, Notary Lead at Docker, reviews how Docker secures the software supply chain. This resolves around making sure that the platform, content, and access are secure. He reviews the passive security features in Linux containers, including restricting exposed root abilities, as well as more proactive measures, like actively scanning for known exploits.

Kenny To, Founding Engineer at Rubrik, demos the Linux protection functionality of Rubrik. He shows how Rubrik has extended their policy based backup solution to physical Linux hosts.

Gene Banman, CEO of DriveScale, reviews where the company sees their place in the storage market. Their customer strategy revolves around uses of Hadoop analytics. This strategy leans heavily on early adopters, as mainstream organizations are only doing Hadoop POCs at this time.

DriveScale Hardware Deep Dive with Satya Nishtala

Satya Nishtala, CTO at DriveScale, give the delegates a deep dive in the adapter hardware the company is offering. He previews the additional functionality to add 10 NVMe drives for caching within the adapter. Then he goes through the hardware capabilities of their adapter to implement their storage architecture.
