I joined the Oklahoma National Guard right after highschool and completed training as an All Source Intelligence Analyst. While in college I started working in a call center supporting iOS and Mac devices. I then transitioned to a more windows based service desk with the State of Oklahoma’s Office of Management and Enterprise Services Agency. During my time there I worked as a Security Provisioning Tech and SOC analyst focusing heavily on all things Identity and Access management, cloud and email. I have spent the last few years in the MSP Space and am currently a Security Analyst. My role is heavily incident response and management, account governance and compliance recommendations, security training and daily account monitoring and event analysis.
I completed my bachelors degree in Digital Forensics and worked heavily on additional course ware focusing in Cyber Incident Response. I enjoy learning about cloud computing and am currently dipping my toes deeper into Veeam and storage solutions. I am eager to learn how best to leverage them with a security and compliance mindset in areas such as healthcare.
Outside of work I am married with 3 daughters and a son , 3 step children, and a grandson. I spend my time crocheting (any and everything), going to horror and anime conventions, baking and hitting the thrift shops.
Sarah Nolan will join us as a delegate at Security Field Day 14 on September 24, 2025!
