Phillip Liu is CTO and co-founder of SignalFx. Before SignalFx, Phillip was a software architect at Facebook, where he led development of Facebook’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform and several key, web-scale application management solutions. Prior to Facebook, Phillip played a pioneering role in the development of the Datacenter Automation category as a Distinguished Technologist at Hewlett Packard and as Chief Architect at Opsware. Phillip has more than twenty years of experience in distributed systems, including leadership roles at Marimba, TCSI, and TRW Financial Systems.
