Started as a Novell Netware and SCO Unixware server admin back in the stone age. I joined Open Line Consultancy in 2004 and became an EMC Storage specialist. I worked with a variety of storage systems including midrange and enterprise EMC and Hitachi systems as well as Pure equipment. I mainly deal with Brocade and Cisco SAN environments. I love digging into performance related issues. I hold an unknown number of EMC certifications, I’m a member of the Dell Technologies Customer Council and used to be EMC Elect for as long as that existed.
I’m married and we have a daughter. We live in what we like to call the most beautiful part of the Netherlands, only 10 minutes from Germany and Belgium. I just picked up riding a motorcycle again this year.
I’m an assistant volleyball coach on a university team since 2 years now.
