Joe Gardiner, Manager, Cloud Architecture EMEA at Pure Storage, gives an introduction to the challenges of data management with Kubernetes. He then introduces Portworx and describes its architecture in a whiteboard session. Then he discusses the concept of application-centric storage for containerized modern applications and gives a demonstration of a customer use case for Portworx in a metro disaster recovery scenario.
