Challenging the Status Quo With CBRS and Celona

Celona has been a presenter at the last two Mobility Field Day events, and they are working hard to disrupt the typical wireless world. Writing for GestaltIT.com, Tom Hollingsworth says that Celona’s utilization of CBRS has alot of potential for areas where wireless is typically problematic. CBRS, a hybrid of cellular and wireless technology, is something Celona is working to bring to market more fully. For the full breakdown, be sure to check out Tom’s post and the Celona presentations on our website!

Celona Tees Up Bigtime on CBRS

Celona has tied up with Aruba for customers that need both Wi-Fi and private mobile networking, and has made private 5G networks a reality, finally

#MFD5 Day 1-Quick Recap

John Deegan knows how to enjoy a vacation, a full day of IT goodness at Mobility Field Day. In this post, he looks back at the presenters feature in day one of the event. From the day, he was saw Mist having an early leg up as it further expands its AI-based analytics in enterprise networks, even while introducing tools to make the traditional dashboard obsolete. Celona showed off how their CBRS tech stack has matured since the last time they presented, and John was excited to see endpoint hardware supporting the spectrum needed for it. The day was definitely full of quality presentations, and he was definitely hungry for the rest of the event.

Coffee Hour – Mobility Field Day 5

Rowell Dionicio and François Vergès over at the Clear to Send podcast recently previewed what to expect at Mobility Field Day. They were particularly interested to see VMware as a presenting company and can’t wait to hear what they’ll be discussing. They also look at some of the delegates attending to the event, note the increased importance of wireless security within the voices around the table, and how the virtual event is changing who can be a delegate.

It’s Time for YOU to Get Wise About CBRS

Lee Badman breaks down the latest in mobility, doing a deep dive on the importance of Citizens Broadband Radio Service. Lee first heard about the potential of unlicensed spectrum back in 2015 at Wireless Field Day, in a session led by Dave Wright, now the President of the CBRS Alliance. The FCC recently announced that 150MHz in the 3.5 GHz spectrum was open for applications to use. This opens the door to a whole new avenue for mobility, including the possibility of private LTE networks. While Wi-Fi 6 and 5G get a lot of marketing hype, CBRS might be just as important.

Celona – LTE for Enterprise at MFD4

Jonathan Davis heard from Celona at Mobility Field Day. They showed their solutions around CBRS, an exciting and more stringently standardized protocol than many other mobility solutions. While Jonathan doesn’t think this can kill Wi-Fi, he does see it as an ideal fit for a wide variety of enterprise deployments.

OnGo Is Here- And Startup Celona Helps CBRS Takes a Big Step Forward

In this post, Lee Badman breaks down what he saw from Celona, a startup making their debut presentation at Mobility Field Day. They showed off their solutions around Citizens Band Radio Service (CBRS). They showed how it fits into the overall wireless landscape, where currently 5G and Wi-Fi 6 get a lot more coverage. Be sure to check out their videos for a full architectural deep dive.

Enterprise CBRS Roundtable

Celona was one of the presenters at Mobility Field Day, and it was great to have them join the Field Day presenter family. In this post, they share all the presentation video from the event, and introduce how they are innovating with enterprise cellular and CBRS.
