Scott Register, VP of Product Management at Ixia, Cloud & Security, discusses best practices for monitoring SSL traffic to gain visibility into network traffic. He reviews the challenges that encryption sessions cause for network security, the pros and cons of using static keys, and forthcoming changes to SSL. He then introduces Ixia’s Visibility Application Module as part of their Active SSL visibility solution.
