JP Vasseur, PhD, Cisco Fellow, discusses how after 30 years of research and progress in the area of Artificial Intelligence, the number of applications is growing exponentially: self driving cars, recommendation systems, automatic reading, biology. This leads to the discussion of two major Machine Learning based products: a massively distributed architecture to detect 0-day attacks (shipped in 2016) and a new cloud-based Machine Learning architecture for network assurance (with the first public demo!), currently being developed.
