An IT veteran who cut my teeth in the datacenter at Nortel over 20 years ago, I’ve worn several hats over the years working at CSC, Partygaming LLC, and Dell EMC before joining Commvault.

Over the next 15+ years of my tenure at Commvault, I had the privilege of working in several roles and contributing to many exciting projects and initiatives. I have been a Technical Sales Engineer, a Product & Solutions Marketer, an official Spokesperson for Commvault, a Social Ambassador, a creator, a presenter, an enabler, builder, and a leader.

As an SE, I was able to be a part of the top performing sales region in Commvault (team Canada!) for most of my sales career. From there, I was invited to join the newly formed Solutions Marketing team where my strong knowledge of our technology and my experiences working with customers, partners and alliances allowed me to contribute to the launch of the successful Commvault GO conference series, revamping our analytics and governance solution GTM, and refreshing the brand image.

In 2020, I took on the challenge to formalize and build a Competitive Intelligence program within Commvault from the ground up. This was previously done ad hoc by many groups and there was no centralized program or consistent approach. Under my leadership the CI program directly engaged with over $100M+ of sales opportunities driving a win rate for deals with CI involvement that was 50% higher than the average. My CI program addressed the entire Commvault portfolio, including Metallic SaaS Backup, the Risk Analysis governance and compliance tools, and ThreatWise cyber deception solutions.

I am extremely familiar with the data protection and SaaS backup industry, including the adjacent cyber security and data storage markets. I am particularly adept at being able to distinguish and separate the marketing from the reality in terms of what the vendors say vs. what they do. I understand their positioning, GTM strategies, technology, and have a solid grasp on current and developing trends in the market. I have experience working directly with customers, partners, analysts, the press, and in both creating and presenting content on stages both big and small.
